Doris C. Robert, 94, formerly of Main St., Albion, died Sunday evening at Woonsocket Health Center. She was the wife of the late George O. Robert.
Born in St. David, P. Q. Canada, she was a daughter of the late Adrien and Marie (Belisle) Leveillee. She was raised in Canada, came to the United States at the age of 13, and lived most of her life in Albion.
Mrs. Robert worked for American Tourister for many years before retiring in 1977. She was a longtime communicant of St. Ambrose Church.
Doris enjoyed gardening and crocheting.
She is survived by her daughter, Claire M. Blanchard, and her husband Gerard, of Woonsocket, five grandchildren, and a great-grandaughter, Faith Robert. She was the mother of the late Roger U. Robert. She was the sister of the late Herve, Camille, and Germain Leveillee, Adrienne Robert, Rose Mineau, and Sr. Marie Laure Leveillee, P.S.S.F. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be Wednesday at 8:30 am from the Menard Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave., Woonsocket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Ambrose Church, School St., Albion.
