Daniel “Danny” F. Glover, 59, of Avon, formerly of Stoughton, died unexpectedly on Saturday April 4 at his home. Brother of Mary Langer and her husband Leslie “Chip” of East Bridgewater. Danny was born in Boston and lived in Stoughton for 21 years before moving to Avon. He attended St. Coletta School for Exceptional Children in Hanover (currently the Cardinal Cushing School) for 11 years. Danny worked for Franklin Sports in Stoughton as a custodian for over 28 years. In his free time Danny enjoyed bowling and watching stock car racing. He was a proud member of the Stoughton Association for Exceptional Citizens and also the Jewish Community Center.
In addition to his sister, Danny is survived by his niece Heather McCarthy and her husband Tom of East Bridgewater and his nephew Peter Langer and his wife Christine of Norton. Also survived by his cousin Kathy Turke of Hingham.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Wednesday April 8 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday 4-8 PM. Burial will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Boston, MA.
