Caroline A. (Memmolo) Morreo, a life-long resident of Boston’s North End, died Friday at Lighthouse Nursing Care Center. She was 95.
Caroline was born and raised in the North End, the daughter of the late Nicolo and the late Rosina (Coppola) Memmolo. A devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved the company of family and friends, Caroline worked at home for many years as a stitcher making custom neckties.
She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Morreo. She was a devoted mother to Louise Webb and her husband William of Lynn and the late Rosalie A. Forziati. She was the loving grandmother of William and Joseph Webb, Karen Hinds and Robert Forziati. She is also lovingly survived by three great-grandchildren.
Caroline’s funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Tuesday at 8:45 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in Sacred Heart Church, 12 North Sq., Boston, at 9:45 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4 - 8. Services will conclude with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
