James R. “Jim” Bauld, 71, of Manchester and formerly of Newton, MA died April 3, 2009 at his residence with his family at his side, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Boston, MA on April 2, 1938, he was the son of Reginald and Anne (Caruso) Bauld.
He was the owner of Professional Management Services, a medical billing company that he sold in 1992.
Mr. Bauld enjoyed spending time vacationing with his family, buying and selling thoroughbred racehorses and watching the Red Sox.
IN HIS LIFE: He was happiest being “Papa” to his grandchildren, which he believed to be his greatest accomplishment of all.
He will be missed and loved by all whose lives he touched with kindness, generosity and humor.
The family includes his wife of 51 years, Judy (Manning) Bauld of Manchester; two children, Larry Bauld and his wife, Liz, of Rochester, NY, and Lauren Sherkanowski and her husband, Steven, of Bedford; nine grandchildren, Stefani, Jason, Nicholas and Lilli Marchi; Christopher, Amanda and Chelsea Bauld, and Emili and Erik Sherkanowski.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Linda Bauld.
A memorial service was held Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory, 1799 Elm St., corner of North Street, Manchester.
