Beatrice LaBrosse Fontenault, 73, of Sterling Drive, died Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at the Phillip Hulitar Hospice Center. She was the wife of Roger Fontenault, Daniel R. Batty and the late Paul LaBrosse.
Born in Fisherville, MA, she was a daughter of the late Lorien and Pearl (DeMers) Ferland. She had been a resident of Glocester for many years. She held many positions at the former Old Stone Bank for over twenty years. She was a CSR for Guild Loan and Investment before retiring. She was the New England Coordinator for NACEL, a French student exchange program.
Besides her husband she is survived by her children, Paul A. LaBrosse, of Tillman, SC, Liesse L. Lynch of Attleboro, Renee J. McNeilly of Glocester, two granddaughters and eleven grandsons, her husband’s children; Roger, Ronald, Normand, Raymond, Robert and Marie Fontenault and his twenty one grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and great great grandson; her siblings, Earl and Pearl Ferland, Margaret Gingras, Irene Shields, and Mary Anne Smith. She was the mother of the late Marie D. LaBrosse and sister of the late Normand and Girard Ferland
Her funeral will be held Tuesday 8:30 from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville. Burial in Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation Monday 4-7pm.
