John M. Barry age 72 of Canton passed away February 27th. Born & raised in Boston, he graduated from Boston Latin High School and Boston College Class of 1958. He enlisted in the United States Marines in 1958 and served his country until his discharge in 1967. He was a member of the Marine Corp Association. He was a Financial Advisor for Merrill Lynch for many years and retired in 2002. Beloved husband of Glenys (Hartley). Loving father of John Barry of Goshen ,Mark Barry of Greenfield, Stephen Booth of Wendell, Darran Booth of CT and Kent Booth of NC. Brother of Stephen Barry of Randolph, William Barry of CA and Paula Riordon of Plymouth. Also Survived by his 8 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours in the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. CANTON on Wednesday from 4-8 PM with a service at the funeral home on Thursday at 10:30 AM Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
