THERESA LAMB

TEWKSBURY-Theresa (Gettings) Lamb, age 82, died Wednesday afternoon April 1, at Lahey Clinic in Burlington. She was the beloved wife of Douglas Lamb with whom she had celebrated a 60th wedding anniversary years, last June 19, 1948.
She was born in Boston on December 11, 1926 the daughter of the late John and Delia (Debine) Gettings. She was raised in Boston and graduated from Hyde Park High School. In 1955 she moved to Tewksbury and worked at WANG as a Computer Analyst. Theresa was a communicant of St. William's Church. She was a fan of the Boston Celtics and the New England Patriots. She enjoyed taking drives with her husband around New England, and reading adventure romance novels.
Besides her husaband she is also survived by five sons and a daughter in law, Douglas Lamb Jr. of Canada, Kevin and Jeff Lamb of Tewksbury, Stephen Lamb and his wife Marilyn of California, and Keith Lamb of California. Two daughters and sons in law, Kathleen Monette and her husband Allen of Nashua, NH, and Karen Lamb of Chelmsford. Two brothers and sisters in law, Donald Gettings and his wife Anita of Orange Park, FL., Arthur Gettings and his wife Nora of Westboro, MA. Nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Mother of the late Barbara Monaco, and sister of the late John and Dorothea Gettings.
Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Tuesday April 7, in St. William's Church, Tewksbury.
