Arthur J. Lamoureux
...retired from Raytheon; 68
TEWKSBURY - Arthur J. "Bobo" Lamoureux, age 68, died Wednesday, April 1, at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington. He was the husband of Barbara M. (Collins) Lamoureux, with whom he had celebrated a 42nd wedding anniversary this past July 2nd.
He was born in Lowell, June 12, 1940, a son of the late Ludger and Lena Lamoureux, and was raised in Lowell. He moved to Tewksbury in 1971.
During the Vietnam Era, he served in the U.S. Army.
He retired from Raytheon's West Andover facility where he had worked for over 25 years, culminating as a final inspector for the Patriot Missile system.
He was an active member of the St. William's Parish community, and a member of the former Couples Club at the church. He was also an avid Patriots football fan, an accomplished Chef, and was described as having devoted his life to his family life.
Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters, Carol-Ann Lee of Tewksbury, and Cynthia Lee Kinnon and her husband John Kinnon of Tewksbury; four grandchildren, Matthew and Haley Kinnon, Justin Lamoureux and Emma Lee; a sister-in-law, Rosemary Lamoureux of S.C.; and several nieces and nephews.
He was also brother of the late David Lamoureux.
His Funeral Mass was held Monday, April 6, in St. William's Church, Tewksbury, followed by committal prayers and Army Honors at St. Mary's Cemetery, No. Tewksbury. Memorials to the Oblate Father's Infirmary Fund, 486 Chandler St. Tewksbury, MA 01876 or the Tewksbury Food Pantry, 999 Whipple Rd., Tewksbury, MA 01876 will be appreciated
