Obituary

LOWELL - Eleanor (Braczyk) Goddard, 101, a longtime resident of Lowell, died Monday March 30th at Blaire House of Tewksbury. She was the wife of the late Leonard S. Goddard.

She was born in Lowell on October 21, 1907, and was the daughter of the late Jacob and Anna (Landoch) Braczyk.

Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Goddard was employed as a weaver by Silk Mill in Lowell.

In her free time she enjoyed bingo and shopping.

She was a member of St. Casimir Church in Lowell and was a member of the church's Chopin Choir, as well as the Tow Ognisko Polek. She also volunteered at Lowell General Hospital.

She is survived by a niece Ann Collins of Lindenhurst, NY; a nephew Edward Braczyk Jr. of Amherst, NH; five great nephews, including Mike Cahill of Dracut, Gerry Cahill of Groton, and Robert Braczyk of NH; a great niece Lisa Desrosiers of Falmouth, ME; two great great nieces Haley Cahill, Elle Desrosiers, and a great great nephew Dexter Desrosiers.

Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT, on Friday from 9 until 10 AM, followed by her Funeral Service at 10 AM at the funeral home. Cremation will follow.
