Mary A. (Campbell) Cremin, 74 years, of Brockton died March 30, 2009 at Blue Hill Alzheimer’s Center surrounded by her loving family. Mary was a lifelong resident of Brockton, the loving wife of the late Timothy J. Cremin and daughter of the late John and Julia (McClafferty) Campbell. She was a graduate of Brockton High School, class of 1952 and had been employed as an operator for New England Telephone Company before starting her family. She was a longtime communicant of St. Margaret and Holy Cross Churches. She and her husband were the owners of MAC-TIM Enterprises, a travel group which traveled worldwide. She was a charter member and secretary of Ireland’s Own of Brockton, enjoyed Irish music and for many years held a duel citizenship in the United States and Ireland.
She is survived by three daughters Ann M. Cremin of Mansfield, Kathleen M. Cremin of Brockton and Colleen A. Cremin of Walpole; a son Timothy M. Cremin and his wife Maribeth of N. Easton; two granddaughters Marissa and Julia Cremin; a brother John “Jack” Campbell of Brockton; a sister Maureen Vaughn of Brockton and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Nancy O’Sullivan and Dennis Campbell.
Funeral from the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Thursday at 9am. Funeral Mass in Holy Cross Church, S. Easton at 10am. Burial in Pine Hill Cemetery, W. Bridgewater.
