WEBSTER – Eileen S. (Pierson) Plaga, 88, died Thursday, March 26, in Quaboag on the Common, West Brookfield. Her husband, Edward H. Plaga, died in 1999.
She leaves a daughter, Sylvia Anne Brodeur and a granddaughter, Heidi A. Brodeur, both of Springfield; nieces and nephews.
She was born and raised in Randolph, Iowa, daughter of Walter and Sylvia (Gray) Pierson, and moved to Webster in 1946. In recent years, she lived in Agawam and West Brookfield. She was a high school graduate.
Mrs. Plaga worked at Bentley Shoe Company for 47 years where she retired as office manager in 1993. She was a member of Saint Joseph Basilica.
A memorial Mass will be held at a later date. There are no calling hours. Donations in her name may be made to St. Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street, Webster, MA 01570. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street.
