WORCESTER-Beverly A. (Binienda) Racine, 61, of 40 Belmont Street, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2009. She leaves a daughter Julie Ann Binienda & Julie’s boyfriend, James C. Johnson of Shrewsbury; a son, John J. Binienda, Jr. of Worcester, a son Jamie and his wife Danielle Binienda of Sandwich; a sister, Nancy and her husband Paul Maffei of Melbourne Beach, FL; a granddaughter Samantha Ann Binienda of Worcester; a great granddaughter Olivia N. Murphy and several nephews and nieces. She is the former wife of John J. Binienda, Sr. of Worcester. Her sister, Judith A. Flood and a brother, Joseph L. Racine, Jr. predeceased her.
Beverly was born in Worcester, daughter of Joseph and Anne (Kerrigan) Racine and graduated from South High School and Leo’s Hairdressing Academy. She worked at the Worcester Registry of Deeds and later worked for several years at the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office. She enjoyed arts and crafts and especially loved spending time with her favorite dog Lexa. She was a deeply caring and giving person and would always be willing to help anyone in need. She will be greatly missed by her loving family.
The funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, March 31, in CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
