Lambert, William H. "Bill" Jr., 75 went to meet his savior March 26, 2009, with his family by his side. He was born September 11, 1933 in Owensboro, KY, to William Houston & Anna (Hall) Lambert.
He was a retired Machinist with 42 years service at P. Lorillard & National Tobacco.
He was a US Air Force Korean War Veteran and a member of Dixie Valley Church of God.
He was preceeded in death by his Parents, 2 Brothers: David & Jimmy Lambert; 1 Sister: Betty Amorosi.
Survivors include his loving wife of 40 years, Shirley Ann (Wardrip) Lambert. Son: Brian K. Lambert; a Daughter: Diane A. White; 3 Grandchildren; 4 Great Grandchildren; 4 Brothers Don, Kenneth, C.W., & Larry Lambert.2 Sisters: Nancy Markle & Judy Smith; several Nieces & Nephews.
Funeral Services will be Monday 11:00 AM at Dixie Valley Church of God, 4703 Quinn Drive, Louisville, KY.
Visitation will be Saturday 5 - 9 PM and Sunday 2 - 9 PM at Owen Funeral Home 5317 Dixie Hwy, and after 10 AM Monday at the Church.
Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
