OBITUARY
Fitchburg
Ida F. (Ruberti) Montville, 90, of Fitchburg died Thursday, March 26, at the
Golden Living Center.
Ida is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Jane N. and Jeffrey
Lonnqvist and Nancy A. and John Connors of Fitchburg; her
brothers and their wives, Joseph and Norma Ruberti of Leominster and
Alexander and Catherine Ruberti of Fitchburg; her grandchildren Eric D.Lonnqvist and his wife Tracey of Leominster, Gregory S. Lonnqvist and his wife Kimberly
of Fitchburg, Karen A. Scottfenton and her fiance
James Reardon, and Cathy J. Scottfenton all of Fitchburg. Her great
grandchildren are Carissa M. Scottfenton and Christian H. Albizu also of
Fitchburg and several nieces and nephews. Her husband of 55 years, Edward R. Montville, died May 12, 2000.
Her brothers, Nicholas, Alfred and Rudolph and her sisters, Assunta
Nathanson and Antonette Kirk all predeceased her.
Ida was born in Fitchburg, August 15, 1918, the daughter of Pasquale and
Norina (Giametti) Ruberti and was a life long resident. She graduated from
Fitchburg High School in 1936 and graduated from the Clinton Hospital
School of Nursing. She was a nurse at Burbank Hospital and
was head nurse of the pediatrics unit when she retired.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday April 8, at 11:00A.M. at Woodside
Cemetery 9 Narrows Road in Westminster. In lieu of flowers, contributions
in her name may be made to St. Anthony de Padua Restoration Fund 84
Salem St. Fitchburg. Bosk Funeral Home 85 Blossom St. Fitchburg is
assisting the family.
