Paul J. Desmarais, 63, of Tiverton, RI passed away Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Lemuel Shattuck Hospital in Boston. He was born in Fall River, son of the late Albert J. and Imelda (Bastille) Desmarais. A veteran of the Vietnam War, he served his country in the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Desmarais was a landscaper in the area.
Survivors include 2 sons: Paul J. Desmarais, Jr. and Henry J. Desmarais; 3 daughters: Lori Ann Lynch, Joanne D. Moniz and Karen L. Desmarais; 9 brothers: Robert J. Desmarais, Normand Desmarais, Roger Desmarais, Donald Desmarais, Denis Desmarais, Maurice Desmarais, William Desmarais, Richard Desmarais and John Desmarais; a sister: Paulette Madora; 4 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was brother of the late Albert A. Desmarais.
Services to which relatives and friends are invited will be Saturday, April 4, 2009 at the Potter Funeral Home at 7:30 P.M.
Visitation will be from 5 - 7:30 P.M. prior to the service.
