Constance DeMinico Milano, of Virginia Beach, VA, died February 16th in Virginia Beach. She was 99.
Mrs. Milano was born in Boston, the daughter of the late Peter and the late Josephine (Tedesco) DeMinico. A Medford resident for many years, she was the past president of the Women’s Italian Club of Boston and the Frances Tomasello Club. She was an early fund raiser for John F. Kennedy’s campaigns and was a fundraiser for the Italian Home for Children.
She was the wife of the late Daniel G. Milano. She was the mother of Deanne Sibley of Columbus, Ohio, Phyllis Milano of Marco Island, Florida and Joya Palacio and her husband Luis of Virginia Beach Virginia. She also leaves 6 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A Funeral Mass will be offered in St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford, Saturday, March 28 at 9 AM. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be sent in Constance’s name to the Sentara Hospice, 535 Independence Parkway, Chesapeake, Virginia 23320.
