WORCESTER-Roberta Gunn, 53, of Worcester, died Sunday, June 15th in U-Mass Memorial Healthcare-University Campus after a brief illness. She leaves a son, Derek L. Gunn of Worcester; a daughter, Tara N. Gunn of Worcester; a brother, Peter G. Gunn of Worcester; a sister, Annie P. Gunn of Worcester and a niece, Sharmese E. Gunn of Worcester. <.p>She was born in Greensboro, North Carolina the daughter of Gorden H. and Ellen A. (Winston) Gunn and has lived in Worcester for most of her life. She graduated from Doherty Memorial High School and Memorial Hospital Nursing School. Ms. Gunn was a registered nurse at the Christopher House for 15 years. She served as board president of the Great Brook Valley Health Center for over 15 years and was a professional gymnast and dancer for over 20 years under the instruction of Mrs. Hickey.
The funeral service will be Thursday, June 19th at 10:30 AM in O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no calling hours.
