Obituary

SPENCER: Joanne M. (Beaudin) Bedard, 82, of 6 Spring St., died Monday, March 23 in St. Vincent Hospital after a brief illness.
She was the wife of Arthur P. Bedard who died in 2004.
She leaves her brother Paul D. Beaudin of Swanzey, N.H., her sister Marcia B. Stratton of Worcester, six nephews and three nieces who considered Joanne their "Best Aunt".
Mrs. Bedard worked at Dienes Corp. in Spencer before retiring several years ago. She graduated from David Prouty High School in Spencer and was a member of the Spencer Chapter of A.A.R.P. An excellent cook and baker, she was a member of the Martha Mary Guild at her church. She worked tirelessly for the parish of St. Mary's and later Mary,Queen of the Rosary Parish. Joanne's constant optimism and youthful energy touched many and will sorely be missed.
Born in Spencer, she was the daughter of Alberic and Marie (Aucoin) Beaudin.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, March 28, from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Burial will follow in Mary,Queen of the Rosary Cemetery. A calling hour will precede the service from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mary, Queen of the Rosary Parish, 60 Maple St., Spencer, Ma. 01562.
