WORCESTER___Anastazia (Bruozis) Lietuvninkas, 90, of Worcester, died Sunday, March 22, 2009 in Beaumont Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing Center, Westborough.
She leaves her husband of 70 years, Klemensas Lietuvninkas, two daughters, Dana Hayes and her husband James of Westborough and Genevieve Naras and her husband Bruno of Shrewsbury; seven grandchildren, Thomas Naras, Edmund Naras, Dianna Chiott, Ruth Steeves, James Hayes, Raymond and Mindaugas and seven great-grandchildren. A daughter, Liuda of Lithuania died before her. She was born in Lithuania, a daughter of Kazimeras and Ursule (Salinskaite) Bruozis and has lived here since 1949.
Mrs. Lietuvninkas was a seamstress many years for Wearwell Trouser Co. before retiring. She was a member of St. Casimir Church, the American Lithuanian R.C. Women’s Alliance and was a former member of Our Lady of Vilna Church. Anastazia enjoyed gardening and cooking.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 25 from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton Street, with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Casimir Church, 41 Providence Street. The Rev. Richard Jakubauskas, a lifelong family friend will preside. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.
