Jacob Quinn DeMeis-Dullea, age 6 ½, was released from his body on Sunday, June 22nd. He passed away at home with his mother, his father, his little brother and his beloved pets.
Amongst those whose hearts he filled with joy are his grandparents, great grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and the Fort Collins, CO and Stonington, CT communities.
Jacob or “J-Muffin,” as he was called by friends, had been battling with a rare genetic disease, Niemann-Pick Type C, that effects mainly children.
Jakey’s life was not valued for the number of years he spent with us but for the number of hearts he touched.
Go run and climb now, Jacob. We love you.
