WORCESTER-Robert K. Badrigian, 80, of Worcester, died Sunday, March 22nd in St. Vincent Hospital. He leaves two sisters, Barbara Badrigian, with whom he lived and Sylvia C. Hoogasian, both of Worcester; a nephew, Steven Hoogasian of Shrewsbury; three nieces, Laurie Jeffery and Marie Burison, both of Worcester, and Barbara Robidoux of Hopkinton; and several grandnephews and grandnieces.
He was born in Providence, RI, the son of John and Happy (Kishdoian) Badrigian and graduated from South High School, Worcester Junior College and Wentworth Institute of Technology. Mr. Badrigian was a machinist at Pratt-Whitney Company before retiring. He was a World War II U.S. Air Force veteran, serving in Germany during the Berlin Air Lift. After his discharge from the Air Force, he was an airplane mechanic at Hanscom Air Force Base.
The funeral is Wednesday, March 25th with a memorial service at 11:00 A.M. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to All Saints Church, 10 Irving Street, Worcester, MA 01609.
