PAXTON-E. Teresa Harney, 86, of Paxton died Friday, March 20th in Holden Nursing Home. She leaves a sister, Eleanora Russell of Holden and several nephews and nieces. Three brothers, William, Gregory and Gerard Harney and two sisters, Mary Harney and Margaret Moors predeceased her.
Miss Harney was born in Worcester, the daughter of Thomas and Mildred (Francisco) Harney. She was a graduate of South High School, St. Vincent Hospital School of Nursing and received her B.S.N. from Boston College. She was a nurse at St. Vincent Hospital and was a member of St. Columba Church, the Massachusetts Nurses Association and Catholic Nurses. Elizabeth enjoyed playing bingo.
The funeral is Monday, March 23rd from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in St. Columba Church, 10 Richards Avenue. Burial will be in Mooreland Cemetery. Calling hours are from 9:00 until 10:00 o’clock in the morning of the funeral in the funeral home.
