Olivia (Martin) Machado, 83, formerly of Westport passed away Thursday, March 19, 2009 at Catholic Memorial Home in Fall River. She was wife of the late Joseph A. “Messel” Machado.
Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Antone and Clara (Nunes) Martin, she had lived in Westport since 1962. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Machado was a stitcher for various mills in Fall River.
Survivors include a daughter: Joan K. Lusk and her husband Roland of Westport; a sister: Hilda Martel of Westport; 2 nieces and a nephew.
She was sister of the late Margaret Medeiros.
Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be Saturday, March 21, 2009 at St. John the Baptist Church, Westport at 10:00 A.M.
Calling hours Friday 5 - 8 P.M. at Potter Funeral Home.
Interment in Beech Grove Cemetery, Westport.
