William E. Hogan, 96, of Manomet, formerly of Wellesley Hills and Newton, passed away peacefully on March 17th. Born in Newton to the late James F. and Anne (Grady) Hogan, he was the beloved husband for 62 years of the late Mary (Cunningham) Hogan. Loving father of Katherine Hogan and Elizabeth Kolby. Dear grandfather of Amanda and Helen Kolby. Beloved brother of the late Katherine, Helen and James Hogan and the late Mary Burns. A veteran (USAF) of WWII, he graduated from Bentley College and Northeastern University School of Law and was employed at Gamewell Fire Alam Systems until he retired in 1974. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the American Legion and the VFW. Funeral Mass at St. Bonaventure’s RC Church, State Rd, Manomet on Monday March 23rd at 10 AM. Interment in National Cemetery, Bourne. Visiting hours on Sunday March 22nd from 4 to 7 PM at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 619 State Rd (Rt. 3A), Plymouth (Manomet).
