Blanche L. Davis, 80, of Hanover St., Manchester, NH died Wednesday, June 18, 2003 at the Hanover Hill Healthcare Center in Manchester. She was born in Chester, NH on December 20, 1922, a daughter of the late Fred and Marion (Porter) McFarland. She was a resident of Manchester for the past five years, formerly living in Derry, NH and Auburn, NH. Mrs. Davis was employed as an inspector for Hadco Printed Circuits in Derry until her retirement. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Chester and Hooksett, NH. She enjoyed taking pictures, completing crossword puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by two daughters, Roberta Holmes of W. Franklin, NH, Pamela Morton of Weare, NH, two sons, Ralph C. Davis Sr., Calvin W. Davis both of Lawton, OK, 13 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, four sisters, Bessie Levesque, Bernice Perkins both of Raymond, NH, Beatrice Lajeunesse of Manchester, Bethel Drake of Hooksett, one brother, Kenneth McFarland of VA, many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Warren D. Davis who died in 1992 and a son, James Davis who died in 1977.
There are no calling hours. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 23rd at 10:00 at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. The burial will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery in East Derry
