SUTTON-Donald M. Leary, 73, of Sutton, died Tuesday, March 17th in his home. His wife of 46 years, Noreen A. (Kelley) Leary, died in 2008. He leaves his son, Daniel K. Leary of Quinebaug, CT; his daughter, Laurie A. Miller of Sutton; two brothers, Jack Leary of Connecticut and Paul Leary of Shrewsbury; his sister, Ann Deso of Auburn; five grandchildren; several nephews and nieces. His brother, Bob Leary predeceased him.
Mr. Leary was born in Worcester on February 1, 1936, the son of John F. and Anna C. (Lupien) Leary. Mr. Leary was a graduate of Worcester Boys Trade School. He was employed by Wyman-Gordon for 42 years until his retirement in 1996. Mr. Leary served in the Army Reserves. He was a member of St. Mark’s Church and enjoyed gardening.
The funeral is Friday, March 20th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester with a Mass at 10:30 AM in St. Mark’s Church, 356 Boston Road. Burial will be in West Sutton Cemetery. Calling hours are Thursday, March 19th from 5:00 until 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
