Carolyn G. Hall, 66

Carolyn G. (Bertholf) Hall, 66, of Mansfield formerly of Shady, New York, died peacefully on Tuesday March 17, 2009 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was partner of Susan E. Grim of Mansfield and the former wife of Robert L. Hall of Appleton, Maine.
Born in Binghamton, New York on June 15, 1942 she was a daughter of the late Howard and Jane (Langham) Bertholf.
Carolyn grew up in Kingston, New York, was educated in Kingston schools and was a 1960 graduate of Kingston High School. She furthered her studies and was a graduate of the Albany Business School in New York
She had worked as a Claims Clerk for the Lester Burdick Quality Insurance Co. in Andover, MA for 10 years before retiring. A resident of Mansfield for over 5 years she had formerly resided in Shady, New York for 24 years.
While living in New York Carolyn was a member of the Shady Methodist Church and was also a former volunteer for the Woodstock Ambulance Squad. An avid bowler she was a member of several bowling leagues in New York and enjoyed playing golf. She also enjoyed reading, mysteries being her favorites. The greatest joy in her life, were her children and grandchildren and she was eagerly anticipating the birth of her 8th grandchild in July.
In addition to her partner and former husband she is survived by her devoted children Ryan D. Hall of Kingston, New York, Kristen L. Wimberley and her husband Jason of Saugerties, New York and Erin L. Cuchelo and her husband Joe of Kingston, New York.
She was the dear sister of Donna M. Sharp and her husband Dennis of West Hurley, New York and Barry L. Bertholf and his wife Sharen of Bloomington, New York. She is also survived by her cherished granddaughters Brooke, Olivia, Harley Rose, Lara, Breena, Danica and the late Chloe.
Services and burial will be held privately at the convenience of her family. Visiting hours have been omitted.
