In Boston, March 15, 2009 Alan died at Tufts Medical Center after a brief period of failing health age 49. Alan was the son of Janice Hannigan of Bourne and the late Kenneth Hannigan. Alan was retired from Datel Co. and Pride Inc. of Taunton. He enjoyed his fish tank, music, especially the Beatles and seeing his friends. Alan was known to many, especially the many caring staff at Community Partnerships who helped and cared for him as a kind & gentle person. Alan leaves his siblings Donna Brown of Wilbraham, Debbie Levy of Bridgewater, Valerie Morse, John, Rodney and Thomas Hannigan all of Buzzards Bay, Kenneth Hannigan of Wareham. His late siblings Judith Gable and David Hannigan. Also many neices and nephews. A funeral home service will be held on Friday, March 20th at 11am. in the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St. in Taunton. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours one hour prior to the service from 10-11am. Interment is private at the request of the family.
