BRAWAND, DORIS MARIE (COMBS), 77, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, March 11, 2009.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Edward Brawand, Sr. and children, John Edward Brawand, Jr. and Doris Marie Broughton.
She is survived by her children, Roger Dale Brawand (Nancy), Robert Lee Brawand, Eric Wayne Brawand (Kallie), Tod William Brawand (Marsha), Mary Elizabeth Doble (Tony), Brenda Sue Spann (Tommy), Dawn Angela Brawand, Terri Elaine May (Trauge), Joan Michelle Al-Diwan (Bashar) and Margaret Jean Ward (Bruce); brother, Charles Louis Combs; 29 grandchildren, including Brandi Brawand who care for her, and 30 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Hosparus for their wonderful care.
Her service will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with entombment in Louisville Memorial Gardens, West.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. - 8 p.m. Monday and Tuesday after 9 a.m. at the funeral home.
