New Bedford - Carlos M. DaRosa, age 49, died Sunday, March 15, 2009, unexpectedly at home. He was the father of Lewis M. DaRosa of Fall River. Mr. Da Rosa is survived by 5 sisters: Mary Zuraida Corliss and Natalie Vaz both of N. Dartmouth and Fatima Oliver, Fernanda DaLima and Elsa Eukerus all of Florida. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Mr. DaRosa was born in Faial, Açores, Portugal and lived in this area since 1966. He was a son of Rogerio and Mariana (Correiro) DaRosa of New Bedford.
Mr.DaRosa worked as a maintenance man at Rte.6 Auto and Marine
Mr. DaRosa’s Funeral will be at the Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. Thursday at 8:45 A.M. with a Funeral Mass at St. Julie Billiart Church at 10 A.M. Burial will follow at South Dartmouth Cemetery. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 5 to 8 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited.
