FRANKLIN—Louise M. (Pellegri) Brown 86, of Franklin, died Saturday March 14, 2009 at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, following a brief illness. She was the wife of Raymond P. Brown.
Born May 19, 1922 in Franklin, a daughter of the late Robert and Gertrude (Dumas) Pellegri, she was a lifelong resident of Franklin.
Mrs. Brown was educated in Franklin schools and was a retired homemaker.
Her interests included crocheting, needlepoint, ceramics, animals and cooking.
She also enjoyed playing golf and spending time with her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was a member of the Franklin Senior Citizens, and a former member of the Franklin Emblem Club, and the Franklin Country Club
In addition to her husband of 69 years she is survived by her children Robert E. Brown and his wife Donna of Austin, Texas, Rae L. Bethoney and her husband Joseph of Franklin and Pamela M. Turinese and her companion Harry Grassel of Franklin, her grandchildren Jeffrey S. Brown, Steven T. Brown Todd R. Brown, Joseph T. Bethoney Jr., Douglas P. Bethoney, Ami L. Daley and Tracie A. Turinese. Also surviving are 10 great grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late Ellen T. Clement who died this past September and the sister of the late Former Franklin Police Chief Arthur C. Pellegri.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral on Wednesday March 18, at 10:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. (www.oterifuneralhome.com) with a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, 1 Church Sq. at 11 AM.
Burial will follow in the family lot at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
