Balliet, Doris
Doris Balliet, 82, of Summerville, widow of Carl A. Balliet, died Saturday, March 14, 2009 at her residence.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at 11 o’clock at Miles Road Baptist Church, 816 Miles Road, Summerville. Burial will follow the service at Dorchester Memory Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Road, Summerville. Visitation will be Tuesday, March 17, 2008 from 6 to 8 at James A. Dyal Funeral Home, 303 S. Main Street, Summerville. Flowers will be accepted.
Doris was born December 1, 1926 in Lockhart, AL, daughter of the late William S. Jones and Alice M. Jones. She graduated from Troy University in Alabama. She was a retired teacher. She enjoyed going to church and was a very active member of Miles Road Baptist Church.

3 Daughters: Edna B. Renau (Rusty) of North Charleston, Paula B. Morgan (Mike) of Summerville, Carol L. Dill (Mike) of Pickens
1 Son: Carl A. Balliet, III (Rita) of Mt. Pleasant.
10 Grandchildren: Joshua Balliet, Liz Morgan, Taylor Morgan, James M. Dill, Jr., Jonathan Dill, Byron Dill (Angie), Victoria Dill, Tyler Balliet, Kelsey Balliet and Jessica Blume.
