Audrey J. (Brunelli) D’Errico, 80, died, Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at the Madonna Manor Nursing Home in N. Attleboro where she had resided for the past 4 years. She was the wife of Fred P. D’Errico who died in 1982.
Born in Franklin on September 26, 1928, she was a daughter of the late William and Irene (Smith) Brunelli.
A lifelong resident of Franklin, Mrs. D’Errico graduated from Franklin High School in 1946.
She and her husband owned and operated Friendly Travel Centers in Franklin, Milford, Foxboro and Norton, a business they started in 1962, and she later ran the business with her son until 2002.
Mrs. D’Errico was a past member of ASTA and several other travel organizations. She enjoyed traveling and cooking and entertaining for her family and friends.
She is survived by two sons, Joel D’Errico and his wife, Marybeth and their children, Jay and Christopher of Franklin and Peter D’Errico and his wife, Melissa and their children, Nicholas and Caroline of Franklin.
She is also survived by a brother, Roger Brunelli and his wife, Joan of Greensboro, NC and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services are private at the request of her family.
