Obituary

Heather R. Braman, 74, of Derry, NH, died Wednesday, March 11, 2009 in the Catholic Medical Center, Manchester, NH. Mrs. Braman was born in Wilmington, OH on April 27, 1934, daughter of the late William B. and Ruth (Davis) Hansford. She was a resident of Derry for the past 3 years, formerly living in Dayton, OH for over 40 years and Wilmington where she grew up. Mrs. Braman graduated from Wilmington High School and Hiram College in Hiram, OH. She worked for Wright-Patterson Air Force Base as a technical writer during which time she worked on Project Mercury. She had also worked for General Electric. Mrs. Braman owned and operated an antiques shop in Arcanum, OH for 8 years. She enjoyed playing tennis, collecting antiques and enjoyed gardening. She was a member of NorthRidge Church in Derry and Ginghamsburg Church in Ohio.

She is survived by her daughter, Heather P. Wiesen and her husband Dan of Derry, a brother, John Hansford of St. Louis, MO and also by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son, Sean R. Braman in 2004, three sisters Jo F. Cottom, Kay Amburgy, Marie Haines, and two brothers, William Hansford and Jean Hansford.

There are no visiting hours. Following cremation a memorial service was held on Sunday, March 15, 2009 at 12:00 noon in the NorthRidge Church, which meets at West Running Brook Middle School, 1 West Running Brook Lane, Derry, NH 03038. Spring burial will take place in the Sugar Grove Cemetery, Wilmington, OH. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the NorthRidge Church, P.O. Box 303, Derry, NH 03038.
