BEVERLY- Bette Louise (Andrews) Boardman, 75, of Honolulu, Hawaii, died Friday, May, 30, 2003 at her residence, following a short illness. She was the wife of the late Roger P. Boardman, a Beverly firefighter who died in the line of duty in May, 1956.
Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late David and Gertrude (Bradley) Andrews. She was a resident of Beverly for over 20 years before moving to Hawaii in 1978.
Mrs. Boardman enjoyed computing, crossword puzzles, going to the movies , music and dancing.
She is survived by two sons, Dana P. and his wife Kathleen Boardman of Brockton, Daryl R. and his wife Cindy Boardman of Beverly, two daughters, Doreen L. and her husband Joseph Tanzella of Amesbury, Denise M Rennick and Michael Moreschi of Danvers, seven grandchildren, a longtime companion, Satoru Fujikawa of Honolulu and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at the family lot in North Beverly Cemetery, on Tuesday, June 10, 2003 at 11 AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. There are no visiting hours.
