Webster – Joann "Honey" Soucy, 66, died on Tuesday, March 10th in the Webster Manor Healthcare Center after an illness.
Joann is survived by four daughters Christine L. Santimore of Ocala, FL, Nadene R. Levasseur and her husband Paul of Webster, MA, Darlene M. Levasseur and her husband Michael of Douglas, MA and Maureen J. Parks and her husband Steven of Suffolk, VA; four grandchildren Jillian, David, Jonathan and Megan; a great granddaughter Cassidy; her former husband Richard P. Soucy of Ocala, FL and her close friend Petey.
Ms. Soucy was born in Worcester, MA daughter of Patrick and Rita (Cote) Corricelli and worked as an electronic assembler for many years at Warner & Swaysey Company and also at EMC Corporation before her retirement.
Spending time with her family was an important part of Joann’s life. Her family would like to extend a special word of thanks to all of the staff and volunteers at the Webster Manor for the exceptional care that was given to Joann during her entire stay.
The funeral will be held on Friday, March 13th from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester with a mass at 10 AM in St. Peter’s Church 931 Main St. Worcester. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 12th from 5 to 8 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the YWCA of Central Massachusetts Transitional Housing Program, Development Office 1 Salem Square Worcester, MA 01608.
