AUGUSTA, Ga. - Gone to be with the Lord on Thursday, February 19, 2009, Ms. Wanda Anderson Boswell, 53, of Augusta.
Ms. Boswell was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta. She was an LPN and active in her church, Overcomers Outreach Center. Ms. Boswell was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She had a special love for children and enormous compassion for those in need.
Family members include her daughters: the late Elizabeth Ann Boswell, Rebekah Bethany Boswell; son: Brannon Glenn Boswell and his wife Glenda; grandson: Elijah Glen Boswell; mother and father: Martha E. Anderson and the late Frank Anderson; sisters: Teresa "Terry" Seagle and her husband Jim, Sharon Carlton; brother: Frank "Chip" Anderson and his wife Beth; nieces and nephews: Brittnee Franke, Rusty Seagle, Chip Seagle, Avery Durbin, Jordan Anderson and Sam Carlton and former husband and friend: Ronnie A. Boswell.
A Memorial service will be held Sunday, February 22, 2009 at 1:30 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Roger Bennett officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Overcomers Outreach Center. The family will receive friends following the service until 3:30 P.M. at the funeral home.
