APPLING, Ga. - Entered into rest Wednesday, March 4, 2009, Mr. John E. Landis, 65, husband of Erika Landis.
Mr. Landis was a native of Lancaster, PA and had lived in Appling for the past 12 years. He was a veteran of the US Army and retired after 20 years. Mr. Landis was also retired from Civil Service at Fort Gordon as a Tech representative.
Family members in addition to his wife include his son and daughter-in-law: John and Sheryl Landis; daughter and son-in-law: Scherry and James Clarke; 4 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
A Memorial service will be held Sunday, March 8, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Don Prosser.
