Yvette M. Duhamel 86, died Tuesday at Mt. St. Rita’s Health Center in Cumberland. She was the wife of the late Leo H. Duhamel. Mrs. Duhamel was born in Woonsocket a daughter of the late Elphege and Eugenie (Marcotte) Martel. Mrs. Duhamel was an inspector at Sadwin’s, she also worked at Jacob Finkelstein’s and Collamati Supermarket.
Mrs Duhamel is survived by a daughter Elaine Frigon of Woonsocket, a granddaughter Lisa Marie Desrosiers of Putnam Ct, and four great grandchildren, Hannah Lynn, Angelica Rose, Gabriel Adam, and Abigail Lindsey. She is also survived by three brothers Lionel Martel of Ormond Beach, FL, Gerard Martel and Paul Martel both of Woonsocket, and a sister Jeannette Boulay of Cumberland. She was also the sister of the late Lucien Martel, Omer Martel, Lillian Lagace, Beatrice Jolicoeur, and Pauline Franca.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10:00 AM. in All Saints Church, Rathbun St., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
