Lelia M. (Gordon) Rowell, 91, of Salem, NH died Sat. March 7th at her home.
Lelia was a life long resident of Salem and her family has been town residents for over 6 generations. She graduated from Woodbury High School. Lelia was a secretary for several Salem Town Mangers. She previously was a Telephone Operator for The Phone Company for Salem.
Lelia was a member of First Congregation Church and was very active in the Philathea Class. She volunteered at Salemhaven for many years baking with the residents. Lelia enjoyed crafts and she enjoyed feeding and watching birds. She loved spending time with her family.
Lelia was predeceased by her parents Effie (Henderson) and Earle Gordon, her stepmother Ruth (Ebert) Gordon who raised her, her husband Kenneth Rowell and her siblings George, Howard and Barbara Gordon.

Calling hours are Mon. March 9th from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH. A Funeral Service is Tuesday at 11:00 AM at First Congregational Church in Salem, NH followed by cremation.
