Mary Louise LaPointe is finally taking a break and has gone on to be with her late husband Joseph and dearest veteran son Raymond. Born and brought up in Bridgewater: September 11th 1915, oldest of eleven children of Manuel and Mary Perreira then taking her last breath at home in Raynham on March 6th 2009. She lived a life overflowing with love, laughs, tears and wisdom, touching many lives and creating many memories. She is the mother of Roger and Richard LaPointe both of Taunton. Grandmother of Fred, Jennifer, David and Jack. Great Grandmother of Caleb, Shemuel, Genevieve, Destiny, Kristen, Derek and Nicholas. Great great-grandmother of PK and Aysa. She enjoyed everything about life. Going everywhere, dancing, raising her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Making sure everyone was fed. In her later years she enjoyed her friends at the Elizabeth White Day Care Center, a cup of tea, good weather and living with her granddaughter Jennifer and husband John and Great grandchildren Caleb and Shemuel. She lived out her last days with her glass half full watching her great grandchildren run about her and took her last breath at home in peace with three generations of children surrounding her. She is an exemplary woman of strength, compassion and unconditional love who will be missed dearly. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton Tuesday March 10th at 11 am. Funeral Mass at the Annunciation of the Lord Church in Taunton at 12 noon. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 5-8 pm. Interment Cedar Knoll Cemetery in East Taunton.
