Rita L. (Burrows) Luti of Stoneham passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2009.
Born in Everett, Rita was the daughter of the late Rita L. (Rogers) Burrows and Frank E. Burrows. Rita was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend and will be missed by all.
Rita was a loving, caring person who was loved by all. Rita worked as a Home Health Aid for 25 years, she loved her patients. She enjoyed cooking and entertaining for her family and friends.
Rita was the beloved wife for 55 years of John R. Luti, Sr . She was the devoted mother of Debbie Lee, Susan Donovan, Donna Spellman, Lynn Schofield, John Luti, Richard Luti and Karen Rhuda. Rita was the cherished Nana of 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was the dear sister of Charles Burrows. She is also survived by 2 nephews.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Monday at 9:00 am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Rita’s life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10:00 am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the family on Sunday from 2-6 pm in the Funeral Home. Interment St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Stoneham.
