Lawrence, MA – Ronald A. Greenwood, 58, died Wednesday March 4, 2009 at the Lawrence General Hospital.
Ronald was born and educated in Plymouth, NH, the son of Clarence and Mary (Avery) Greenwood.
For many years Ronn was employed as a Mechanic/ Clerk at the Internal Revenue Service and also worked part-time for the Post Office as a rural route postman.Ron was an avid reader, serious baseball fan, who loved car shows, but his family was his real love.
Mr. Greenwood is survived by his wife of 23 years: Eileen (Connor) Greenwood. He leaves one son Kyle J. Greenwood of Lawrence, one brother Andrew Greenwood & his wife Beth of Keene, NH, one uncle Arthur Avery, and two aunts Margaret and Alice Avery all of Plymouth, NH, a niece Lorie Robbins and husband Brent, niece Julie Greenwood and Lynn Jones, nephews; Joseph Jones and wife Amy, Daniel Jones and wife Elaine, Timothy Jones and wife Melissa, and Stephen Connor, as well as numerous grand nieces and grand nephews.
Calling hours will be on Sunday from 4-8 P.M. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday March 9th at 1 o’clock at the Plymouth Congregational Church in Plymouth, NH with a spring burial at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Liver Foundation 88 Winchester Street Newton, MA 02461.
