Obituary

Robert R. Caron, 84, of Manchester died March 5, 2009 at Catholic Medical Center.
Born on August 28, 1924, he was the son of Lionel and Juliette (Houle) Caron. He was a lifelong resident of Manchester.
During World II he served in the US Army.
Mr. Caron worked at Anchor Electric Company in Manchester for 30 years.
He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Disabled American Veterans and was a communicant of Parish of the Transfiguration.
The family includes his wife of 63 years, Laurette (Fortin) Caron of Manchester; five children, Claudette Proulx of Auburn, Diane Mulholland of Litchfield, Joanne Perreault and Ronald Caron both of Manchester, and Judith Vallee of Pembroke; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren; a sister, Rachel Gelinas of Manchester; cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Monday, March 9, 2009 at Parish of the Transfiguration, corner of Kelley and Youville streets, Manchester. Committal prayers with military honors followed at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Rd., Manchester.
