Dorothy G.Rouse age 92 of Midland MI, died at Brittany Manor on Monday March 2, 2009.The daughter of the late Ralph and Annie (Schofield) Niles. She was born on July 30, 1916 in Brockton where she was raised and educated. On May 15, 1964 she married Mr. John L. Rouse in Manchester, NH whom predeceased her in 2008. Dorothy had worked as a LPN at Foxboro State Hospital prior to moving to Midland with her husband, who was a mail carrier for the US Postal Service in Midland for over 35 years. Mrs. Rouse was a member of the Episcopal faith and a member of the Berry Hill American Legion Auxiliary. Calling Hours will be held on Friday March 6, 2009 from 11:30-12:30pm followed by a funeral service at 12:30pm at the Shepherd Funeral Home (RT 14 PEMBROKE CENTER). Burial will be in Melrose Cemetery in Brockton MA.
