Raymond J. Blais Jr. 72, of Waterfront Lane in Glendale, died Wednesday in Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of Annette C. (Tellier) Blais. Mr. Blais was born in Woonsocket a son of the late Raymond J. and Agnes (Monroe) Blais Sr. He was a computer programmer for several companies in Massachusetts including Augat Co. from which he retired in 1978. Mr. Blais was an Air Force Veteran.
Besides his wife he leaves four sons Kenneth A. Blais of N. Smithfield, Marc A. Blaisof of Endicott, NY, Russell L. Blais of Harrisville, and Peter C. Blais of Woonsocket, a daughter Carol J. Godin of N. Smithfield, two brothers Jakes and Andy Blais both of Worcester, MA, and nine grandchildren. He was also the brother of the late Emile and Edwin Blais.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. John’s Church, Church St. in Slatersville. Burial will be private. Visiting hours are Friday 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Lung Association of RI, 260 West Exchange St., Suite 102B, Providence, RI 02903-1000 in his memory would be appreciated.
