LEICESTER: Alan R. St. Martin,55, of 385 Main St. in the Cherry Valley section of Leicester, died Wednesday Feb. 25 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.
Alan was a self employed residential house painter for most of his life. He once worked for Taylor Made Contractors, and also as a crew member for several area golf courses. He attended Leicester Schools, and loved playing the guitar, golfing and caring for animals, especially cats. He once played in a band called the Magical Misteri Mirchantz.
Although Al does not leave any immediate family, he does leave many friends throughout the area.
He was born in Worcester, the son of Roger E. and Shirley K. (Emond) St. Martin.
A graveside service for Al will be held in the family plot at St. Joseph's Cemetery, in Leicester on Saturday, March 7 at Noon. A reception and celebration of life will follow in the Cherry Valley American Legion 443, 167 Main St., Cherry Valley. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Second Chance Animal Shelter, P.O. Box 136, E.Brookfield, Ma. 01515 in his name.
