Worcester- Josephine T. (Dudzinski) Lucas, 87, of Worcester, died Tuesday, June 3, in her home, after an illness.
Her husband, Adolf S. Lucas, died in 1988. She leaves four cousins, Blanche Szlyk and Joanne Szlyk, both of Worcester, Stanley Belonos of West Paterson, New Jersey, and Christine Stebbins of Paxton. Several sister in Poland pre deceased her. She was born in Portland, Maine, daughter of John and Malvina (Jankowska) Dudzinski, She was raised in Poland and moved here many years ago.
Mrs. Lucas worked at Wick Wire Company in Spencer for many years before retiring.
She was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Catholic Parish.
The funeral will be held Friday, June 6, from Henry-Dirsa Funeral Home, 33 Ward Street (www.worcesterfuneral.com), with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. A calling hour will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, June 6, in the funeral home.
