Jacqueline G. Leclaire, 78, died Saturday morning at The Holiday in Manville surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Lucien J. Leclaire of Woonsocket. They were married on May 23, 1953.
Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late Ovide and Francoise (Marchand) Thibault. She was a lifelong resident of Woonsocket and resided at The Holiday for the past four years.
Mrs. Leclaire worked for Tupperware Corp. at the Blackstone plant for 22 years before retiring in 1985. She was previously employed at U.S. Rubber Corp. in Woonsocket for 10 years.
Jacqueline’s life centered around her family.
In addition to her husband of 55 years, she is survived by a daughter, Nancy A. Beauregard, and her husband Peter J., of Woonsocket. A grandson, Keith Goryl, and his wife Nicole, of Aurora, Ill., and a great- grandson, Nathan Michael Goryl. She was the sister of Cecile Landry, Irene Miclette, Muriel Mandeville, and Pauline Williams, all of Woonsocket, and the late Jeanne Caron. She was also the sister of the late Charles Thibault, who died during WWII. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be Thursday at 9:00 am from the Menard Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave., Woonsocket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am in St. Joseph’s Church, Mendon Rd., Woonsocket. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland. Visiting hours are Wednesday from 5-8 pm.
