Lorraine F. Moberg, 80
Worcester- Lorraine F. (Millard) Moberg, 80, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2009. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Lincoln M. Moberg in 2006 and her daughter, Susan (Moberg) Orlando in 2002.
Lorraine is survived by her three daughters, Deborah Shannon wife of James, Patricia Gentile, wife of Peter, all of Worcester, and Charlene Albert, wife of Paul of New Jersey; Eleven grandchildren: Marybeth Majersky, James and Michael Shannon; Daniel, Erica, Elizabeth and Marykate Gentile; Justine and Christopher Orlando; Justin and Alyssa Albert and 5 great-grandchildren. Her list of friends and loved ones are endless.
Lorraine was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada. She retired from Woodbury Company in 1991. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish and a camper at Peaceful Acres for 30 years. She loved to bake, knit, play scrabble, and spend time with her family.
The funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 from Nordgren Memorial Chapel 300 Lincoln St. with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, Grove St. Worcester. Burial will follow in All Faiths Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
